i noticed that APF uses alot of cpu a thrid of my vps i belive but i am wrong proberly.

here is what i see each day

Top Process %CPU 15.0 /bin/bash /etc/init.d/apf stop
Top Process %CPU 11.0 /bin/bash /etc/init.d/apf stop
Top Process %CPU 9.0 /bin/bash /etc/init.d/apf stop

so that equals 35% of cpu (if im correct)

so firstly is those above figures correct ? and secoundly is it worth having APF or am i better of without it ?

i notice at around 4 - 6pm my server suffers a slowage (in server status cpu is 3.80 - 4.XX ) and i generally see nothing else that is resource mad in the stats. i also am getting acutal perfomance diffrence.

root 1.95 0.61 2.0

Top Process %CPU 0.6 cpaneld - serving 86.31.94.185
