IMHO, if you are just using the VPS for personal/hobby use Webmin would be a good control panel to use and you can also make use of Virtualmin if you want to host multiple web sites.
But if you are making use of your VPS for a web hosting business, CPanel/WHM would be the one I'll recommend. :)

I've used cPanel for a long time due to a large client of mine's request. Now I use it because it makes transfering accounts between machines and dns clustering easy and more importaintly, I'm used to it :D

Currently Webmin because it works and I'm cheap.
I'm also a DirectAdmin fan. If given the choice
I'd have prob. taken it.
I vote cpanel because of its ease to migrate a domain account from server A to server B and because it keeps apache and php update date and configurable.

I dont use cPanel/Plesk for along time.. But my opinion is that cPanel has more features, but Plesk is much more integrated in to Virtuozzo VE structure. Maybe now it is not so right like one year ago, but I think all who use cPanel will argee that it is best cp for "shared hosting company" at this moment.

I host my friends' domains and they like it a lot. It is very easy and straight forward to use. I use it because I make use of the email forwarders.
I tried Plesk but it doesn't seem to have as many features, especially the email forwarders, and it is harder to find what I'm looking for in the menu structure.
Plesk also nickels and dimes for everything.
P.S. This Poll feature is kind of neat. I don't think I've seen it used in other Forums.
How do you create one? Nethermind, I found it on the new thread options; this edit button is nice.

cPanel is the only way to go if you want to make your life easier. Im sure if you know how to use the other "cheaper" solutions will work just fine. But for me Im not a linux expert so cPanel makes it nice and easy for me to do all the updates and account changes.

I have voted cPanel/WHM simply because they are what i have always used, and my members love it. RapidVPS also gives Fantastico for free :D, i love it.
I recommend cPanel/WHM to everyone.

Webmin as I'm a cli type of guy and at home in SSH for many things.
I only need the web interface
1) when I'm feeling lazy and want to browse through a MySQL table or check permissions (I don't like phpmyadmin)
2) I need to issue emergency commands after crashing the SSH daemon
3) I am trying to configure something I do once in a blue moon (like logrotate)
I spose 4) Cause I'm cheap :) and 5) because that's all Gentoo has at the moment :(

Most shared hosting providers use cPanel/WHM, so I think more webmasters including me like cPanel/WHM.
