Memory Usage Drops to Zero ?

I am looking at the graph for my VPS memory usage and it is almost constantly at 60 MB-- except for a few places where there are gaps in the graph, and the memory just seems to drop off to zero.

I'm worried because some of the gaps look to be almost an hour long. What is happening?

it is an accounting error. your memory is not really at zero, naturally.
