Hi im new here (sorry for my bad english)...

So i was wondering to get the VPS Rapid. One to host some stuff, including a torrent client (i have a torrent tracker for HD Videos, Wallpapers and Freewares)...

So i dont know unix very well, and i would like to know if i will have full access to my server, i mean if i will have access by some software like VNC..

Will i be able to do whatever i want on the server by a window(like VNC), install any software, costumize my server wallpaper, use internet on my server, anything?

thanks.

Hi, thanks for posting in the forum. Your english is just fine.

Torrent activity is one of the few restrictions on our network. Your other questions about a GUI are supported. Many of our customers run gnome, vnc, and many other windowing/remote management software in their VPS. I would recommend centos 5, and execute 'yum groupinstall "GNOME Desktop Environment"' to get a gui rocking quickly.

In the end though, a linux gui is not terribly useful unless you have very specific ideas in mind.

You can host http links to your wallpaper, freewares, and other files. HD videos sound a bit scarry, but usa-legal content of any format is just fine.
